Amateur Choristers
For several years now, amateur choristers have been invited to join professional musicians and choristers to perform a few movements of a work during the opening concert of the Montreal Baroque Festival, resulting in flamboyant performances that are unforgettable.
This year, the Grand Chœur will take part in the grand opening concert AMAZING GRACE, on June 13, 7pm, at Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours (400, Saint-Paul East, Stresst, Champ-de-Mars metro). A concert in the colors of Africa, with musicians from Cape Town and spiritual songs rooted in the Afro-American tradition. With musicians from the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra, ClassiqueInclusif, Nigra Sum and the Festival Choir, all under the direction of Erik Dippenaar.
