Les grands espaces

The Festival's logo, the title of the concert, and photos of Nina Segalowitz, Vincent Lauzer, and Johanne Couture over a detailed line drawing of a landscape

Budding musicians of all ages are invited to participate in a new version of Les grands espaces, a piece by Quebec composer Katia Makdissi-Warren. A trip to distant horizons, looming mountains and quiet meadows in the company of children’s choirs, young instrumentalists and Festival musicians.

Montreal Baroque would like to thank Early Music America and the Arrondissement de Ville-Marie for their support in bringing Les Grands espaces to various schools in Quebec and to the population of the neighbourhood.
