What is music, the omni-present, intangible art that touches our hearts? Beethoven’s good friend, the philosopher, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, came up with an unusual and inspired definition of this universal, aural pleasure: liquid architecture! As always the festival is devoted to the many creative, musical interpretations of this concept: elegant eels in fantasy fountains, mathematico-musical monuments and inspired improvisations, presented in unexpected, little-known venues of architectural interest including one with a liquid presence.
